Akerke Akhmetova was born in Almaty. Graduated from Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau Pedagogical Institute, Ye.A. Buketov Karaganda State University, Kokshetau University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sheffield University, United Kingdom (under the Bolashak program). She worked in various fields, including commercial structures.
Since 2000, he has been working in the structure of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She held the positions of chief specialist, head of the department of examination of draft international treaties, deputy director of the department. Later, she headed the Department of International Law and Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From March 2018 to her new position, she held the position of Director of the Department for the Protection of Property Rights of the State of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
